‘At Your Service’ party in Bakersfield

Last Sunday 25 dear friends and family of Patrick gathered in his private-members bar, The Gentleman, in Bakersfield California to watch something on TV that is quite new to them – a television programme from Ireland!

Co-owner Stephen flew in from Dingle for the event, via a Rick Steves reunion in Seattle.

All present are fans of Milltown House and most present have visited Dingle (some several times) since Patrick acquired the property in December 2014.

Despite a few problems understanding the accent and cultural nuances such as “the craic”, everyone enjoyed the program immensely.

Francis Brennan in particular was quite a hit among the Okies, oilmen and hard-working farmers present! He now has his very own following and personal Fanclub in the hot Central Valley of California…
