“Let me tell you ’bout the cherry trees

Every April in our town

They put on the most outrageous clothes

And they sing and they dance around….

And they seem to be saying,

To me anyway;

You know we’ve travelled all around the Sun

You know it’s taken us one whole year

Well done everyone, Well Done”

– John Spillane, The dance of the cherry trees

Cherry blossoms at Milltown House Hotel on Dingle Harbour

Thanks to all our team and all our guests, we are fortunate enough to enjoy another summer, almost upon us. So we are celebrating the dance of the cherry trees on Dingle Harbour

Thanks also to Juli Malone and her team, for planting all these beautiful cherry trees for us, and to John Spillane for the inspiration to plant them! Here is John singing his beautiful song,’Dance of the cherry trees’. A lovely reminder that we should take time to celebrate the oncoming of summer.
